These online courses will be administered by the Quad City Area REALTOR® Association's Education Department. Therefore, all communication and correspondence regarding the courses will come from the Quad City Area REALTOR® Association. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Quad City Area REALTOR® Association at (563) 355-6655, or education@qcarealtors.com. For Iowa Online Courses: All Iowa home study courses require a final examination. A passing score of 90% is required for All Iowa Continuing Education Online courses, and a 75% passing score for the Iowa 60-hr Salesperson Pre-license course. There is no limit to the number of times a final exam may be taken to achieve a passing score. You have 6 months to complete your online course, which starts from the time of purchase. A "Student Verification Form" must be signed and returned once a passing score on the final exam is achieved. Once the final exam has been passed and student verification form returned, the certificate will then be issued. You may either Fax - (563) 355-2619 or Email - education@qcaREALTORS.com the form for processing.
(For Iowa real estate continuing education: A maximum of 18 hours during a renewal period may be taken by home study, and the other 18 hrs must be completed by attending classroom courses.)

In addition to the 60-hour pre-license course, students will be required to take the 36 hours of education that were originally required in the first 3 years. The new law will require that the three 12 hour courses (Listing Practices, Buying Practices and Developing Professional Conduct & Ethical Practices) be taken before a student can apply for a license.
